Risk-e Business Presents Sydney Airport Emergency Exercise at Simulation Congress

Risk-e Business Consultants' Dave Donohue delivered a keynote presentation at the Australasian Simulation Congress in Adelaide, showcasing Exercise Volatus Aurora - the large-scale emergency simulation conducted at Sydney Airport in October 2024.

The presentation detailed how Risk-e Business coordinated this no-notice, multi-agency exercise that tested operational readiness through a simulated Boeing 737 MAX crash scenario. The case study highlighted both technical complexities and critical human factors including leadership, communication, and inter-agency coordination.
